Former President Barack Obama will mark the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago on June 18 with a livestream event.

Performers and guests scheduled to appear include Bono and The Edge of U2, Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Common, Eddie Vedder, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Tems and The Roots.

Additional participants include Guitars Over Guns, the Illinois Army National Guard and Uniting Voices Chicago. Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are also expected to speak during the program.

According to organizers, the event will serve as the official dedication of the Obama Presidential Center, located on Chicago’s South Side. The livestream will bring together “global leaders, artists, changemakers, and citizens for an inspiring celebration of the values that shaped the Obama presidency and continues to inspire people everywhere to believe in their power to create change.”

The Obama Presidential Center was built through private donations and cost approximately $850 million. The campus spans 19.3 acres in Jackson Park and includes museum, education and community spaces.

The center will officially open to the public on Friday, June 19, coinciding with Juneteenth. The event will be streamed live on Obama.org beginning at 11:00 a.m. CT.
